Measurement principle: Ammonium ions (NH4+) are stored in an alkaline aqueous solution and can be converted into ammonia gas (NH3) at a sp/ecific partial pressure by alkalization. After a specific partial pressure of ammonia (NH3) diffuses into the sensor, a specific pH value is formed. The change in pH value can be converted to the concentration of ammonium ions.
