Why SNEX?
SNEX, the revolutionary solution to the problems the traditional porous-liquid-junction pH sensors encountered, such as: Precipitations by sulphides(H2S) and proteins, failure by reference electrode coating and contamination or fine particle clogging, poisoning, conditions in cold low ionic waters and in ultra pure waters, etc.
SNEX, solid-state, non-exchange reference electrode system: it uses a highly stable non-porous polymetric interface in place of the traditional porous liquid junction. The electrochemical active reference area is the wholeof the outside surface of the electrode, this super large contact area means that the electrode is supremely resistant to coatings. Poisoning effects are eliminated because the polymetric reference material is ionicly conductive, but is not porous, consequently electrolyte and process fluids are not exchanged.
The advanced solid-state nature of SNEX reference electrodes mean they remain extremely accurate and reliable across a wide range of conditions, including: Temperature: 0 to 90ºC, Pressure: 0 to 20 bar.
  The PPS sensor body plays a key role. Why PPS Body?
For general and routine pH measuring, in lab or in process, the ruggedness and durability of pH sensor is always an issue: the sensor body plays a key role.
Why not PPS body? It‘s a better alternative than traditional epoxy and glass body.
Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) - A crystalline polymer having a symmetrical, rigid backbone chain consisting of recurring p-substituted benzene rings and sulfur atoms.
Apart from excellent physical performance, Polyphenylene sulfides exhibit outstanding chemical resistance and stability, thermal stability, dimensionally stability, and fire resistance. PPS's extreme inertness toward organic solvents, and inorganic salts and bases make for outstanding performance as a body of pH sensor.
